Kwilli asks

This is my current line-up in a 12-team league. Standard scoring rules w/ bonuses for yardage.

STARTERS:
QB - Matt Hasselbeck
RB - LaDainian Tomlinson
RB - Jamal Lewis
RB - Edgerrin James
WR - Wes Welker
WR - Patrick Crayton
DST - Vikings
K - Josh Brown

BENCH:
RB - Greg Jones
QB - Jake Delhomme
DST - Patriots
K - Rob Bironas
QB - Chad Pennington
WR - Justin Gage
RB - Rudi Johnson

What do you think. Remember, the draft has already occurred, so what's left on the free agent list is slim pickings. How would you improve upon this lineup? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Kwilli,

Overall I like the team. I would give you a B-. My suggestions would be to trade Rudi Johnson if you can. What RB's are left on the waiver? You are good at QB, decent at RB and solid at kicker and defense. Greg Jones may just get you some TD's but its tought to say with MJD and Fred Taylor still ahead of him. I would suggest grabbing a RB with some upside if there is one still around. You are ok at WR but I would consider this your week point. Welker is good as a 2 and Crayton should do ok considering he will be in single coverage most of the time but Gage is nothing for sure and may only put up minimal numbers. My Suggestions would be to try and move Rudi and drop Chad Pennington to pick up another WR or RB. They main thing for you is to keep an eye on my blog and the stats from the games and try and find some guys who come out of no where that can help your time as the season progresses. If you do that you have a chance as does any team with LT on it. In the last 3 years of my main yahoo draft the person with LT made it to the final game. Whatever you do don't trade him away no matter what comes your way. Good Luck and if you have any more questions just let me know.
