Jerricho Cotchery - Word out of N.Y. is that Mr. Cotchery is quickly becoming the favorite target of Brett Farve and has a good chance to produce more then Laveranues Coles as the Jets top receiver this year. This was also evident in the last preseason game. If the Jets didn't make some stupid mistakes, Cotchery would have had another 2 touchdowns. Last season Cotchery played 15 games, had 82 receptions for 1130 yards and averaged 13.8 yards a catch but only 2 TD's. Coles played 12 games, had 55 receptions for 646 yards and averaged 11.7 yards a catch with 6 total TD's. Cotchery is bigger at 6-0 / 207 pounds when compared to the 5-11 / 193 pound Coles. Cotchery is also 5 years younger at only 25. In his 5th NFL season expect Cotchery to do big things and solidify himself as a star WR. I would put him as a solid 2WR and would look to draft him before a high cost TE. His size will allow him to get open and Farve will have time to get him the ball thanks to the improvements the Jets made to the offensive line this year. Coles has also been known to have an attitude problem and this has been no different in the preseason. Cotchery has all the skills needed, a hall of fame QB, a good o-line and the best city in the world to make his 5th season in the league a standout one.
